Plan changes and overages

A workspace normally uses its owner's account plan. Collaborators can be on a different plan: the workspace's effective plan controls its limits and features for everyone who can access it.

To collaborate across tiers, a Pro or Team user can create a workspace and invite a Free user. The Free user can copy actors into that shared workspace, subject to the destination workspace's actor limit.

Upgrades

An upgrade takes effect immediately for workspaces that inherit the owner's plan. It raises the applicable workspace, actor, member, AI, and bulk-run allowances and restores paid features such as PDF export and viewer links where available.

Downgrades

A downgrade never deletes your data. Existing workspaces, actors, members, and pending invites remain available. If a workspace is over its new actor limit, you can still view, edit, delete, export, and copy actors out; adding actors, importing, copying actors in, and approving actor suggestions pause until the count is below the limit.

Existing members and pending invites remain, but new invitations and acceptances pause when there is no room. Existing owned workspaces remain available if your new account limit is lower than your current count, but you cannot create more. PDF export turns off immediately when the new plan does not include it. A stored public viewer link becomes inactive, rather than being deleted, until an eligible upgrade or permanent revocation.

AI credits already used in the current calendar month are not reset by a plan change. If usage meets or exceeds the new allowance, AI actions wait for the next monthly reset or an upgrade. See the Terms of service for the plan and payment terms.
